Fitgram respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, for what purposes, how long we keep it, with whom we share it, and what your rights are.

Account: authentication via Google or Apple (identifiers provided by these services: name, email, technical account ID, photo if available).
Body profile & goals: sex, age, height, weight, activity level, objectives (target weight, weight-loss/gain plans), TDEE calculations, macro presets, meal distributions.
Usage content: foods added to your “kitchen,” foods selected in meals, calculated quantities (grams), organizational preferences.
Minimal technical information required for compatibility and security: device type, operating system, installation identifiers, timestamps, error/event logs (no sensitive content), app version.
Subscription status (active/inactive, SKU, period) and validation information from Google Play Billing and/or App Store.
Fitgram does not process or store any credit card data — payments are fully handled by Google/Apple.
Fitgram does not collect clinical health data (diagnoses, tests). Nutrition/weight information is entered by you solely for functional portion calculations.
Service delivery (account creation, login, TDEE/macro calculations, meal-plan generation, saving your “kitchen,” cloud sync) – Contract performance (Terms of Use).
Subscription verification (access to Premium features) – Contract performance + Legitimate interest (secure access).
Improvement & support (bug diagnostics, compatibility, performance) – Legitimate interest.
Essential communications (security notices, major changes) – Legitimate interest / Legal obligation.
Optional messages (updates or new features) – Consent where required, with opt-out available.
Fitgram does not sell your data and does not display targeted advertising.
We only share what is strictly necessary for the service to operate:
Authentication & account: Firebase Auth (Google), Sign in with Apple.
Subscriptions: Google Play Billing / App Store (subscription status, validation tokens).
Hosting / cloud sync: cloud infrastructure (encrypted storage of settings and account-related states).
Messaging: email provider for support requests.
These third parties act as processors (or independent controllers for Google/Apple) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Some providers (e.g., Google/Firebase, Apple) may process data outside the EU. In such cases, appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses and additional measures) are applied to protect your data.
Account & profile/usage data: retained while your account is active, then deleted/anonymized within 30 days after closure unless legally required otherwise.
Technical logs: up to 12 months (security/diagnostics).
Subscription information & supporting documents: according to legal and tax requirements (up to 10 years if necessary), mostly held by Google/Apple.
We apply organizational and technical measures such as access control, encryption in transit and at rest (depending on the service), security logging, environment separation, and regular dependency reviews and patches.
You have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (for consent-based processing).
In the app: Profile → data deletion options and logout.

We respond within 1 month (or within 3 months for complex requests).
You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Camera / Scanner (if used, e.g., barcode scanning): only for the requested operation; no recording outside that context.
You may revoke permissions in your device settings (some features may be limited).
Fitgram is not intended for individuals under 15 without parental consent. If you believe we hold data about a minor without the required consent, contact us for deletion.
The informational website (e.g., Google Sites) may use technical or audience-measurement cookies. Refer to the site’s cookie banner/notice where applicable. The Fitgram mobile app does not use browser cookies.
This policy may evolve to reflect service updates, new regulations, or changes in our providers. In case of substantial changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. The version displayed in the app or on the website prevails.
